About
Latin Music on Queen is a bi-weekly outdoor event brought to you by Queen Latin Music every summer as part of the Hespeler BIA's "Walk Queen" initiative. This is a FREE street dancing event playing salsa, bachata and merengue for your enjoyment.
ou can expect an inclusive environment where everyone can join in, let loose, and enjoy the music, regardless of your background. Come feel the emotion and energy in the vibrant music no matter what language you speak! Whether you’re attending as part of the Latin community, the dance community, or just to have a good time, Queen Latin Music events are the place to be!

Where is this event located?
This event takes place outdoors on Queen St E in Hespeler Village (Cambridge). The street is closed every weekend for various community events
Do I need a dance partner?
No partner needed! In the social dance community, everyone dances with everyone (if you feel like it). You can ask a stranger to dance, dance with your friends or rock the dance floor solo
Is there an age restriction?
This is a family friendly event, Latin dance can be enjoyed by any one of any cultural background, age, or ability
How much does the event cost?
This event is completely FREE!
Where can I park?
There are various parking lots located in Hespeler that are within walking distance of Latin Music on Queen. Click here for a detailed parking map
What happens if it rains?
The event will NOT be cancelled unless it's raining heavily during the event time. Even then we will probably wait to see if it passes quickly. Be sure to follow us on social media as we will post any cancellation there
Can we buy food or drinks?
We do not sell food or drinks as part of the event but there are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance, including some patios adjacent to the dance floor
What type of surface is the dance floor?
This event takes place on the closed street so the surface is asphalt pavement
Are there washrooms available?
There are washrooms available to the public at
39 Queen St E. Please do not use restaurant bathrooms unless you are a customer
